Before pockets became a staple in our everyday attire, people used pouches. They were attached to a belt, and in women’s dresses, special cutouts were made to reach them.

The real pocket boom came in the 19th century – they began to be sewn into suits, trousers, frock coats, waistcoats, and coats… Virtually everywhere possible. Now, they are an indispensable element of almost every piece of clothing, although, as Christian Dior observed, men and women use them in different ways. According to him, men treat pockets as a storage place for items, while women see them as decorative accessories.

But have you ever wondered how far the evolution of the pocket could go? After all, in most garments, even men’s, pockets seem to be more decorative than practical. The exception might be cargo pants with large pockets on the pant legs, but those probably aren’t too comfortable for everyday urban use.

Such considerations led me to reflect on the “ideal” pocket. What would it look like? What would fit into it? A phone, wallet, keys, or maybe something more? Perhaps things that could come in handy during a full-day outing, eliminating the need to carry an additional bag or backpack?

After a year of trials and improvements, the Pakker pockets were born. Deep, practical, interconnected. Designed in such a way that you can put your phone in from one side and take it out from the other (because it always rings when it’s in the pocket that’s hard to reach). They are divided into 4 separate “compartments” plus one additional, secret pocket for special treasures.

It’s true, sometimes you can get lost in them. I’ve even heard voices saying that a special app would be needed to search for treasures in these vast pockets. But one thing is certain – once someone tries to use them, they always wonder why nobody thought of this before? And they can’t function without them anymore. Because above all, they make you feel… Freedom!
