Our websites can be visited without providing personal data. Each time a website is accessed, the server automatically saves only so-called server logs, e.g. the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred and the requesting internet service provider. This data is analyzed solely to ensure proper functioning of our website and to improve our offer.
Hosting
All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to our website. Hosting and website display services are partially provided on our behalf by our service providers as part of data processing entrustment.
2. Data Collection and Processing for Contract Execution and Contact Purposes
2.1 Data Processing for Contract Execution
We process personal data voluntarily provided by you during the ordering process for the purpose of contract execution (including inquiries regarding warranty claims). The legal basis in this regard is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Mandatory fields are marked as such because they concern data necessary for order processing.
2.2 Customer Account
If you give your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR to create a customer account, we will process your personal data necessary for this purpose. Your customer account can be deleted at any time by contacting us or using the appropriate function in your account settings.
2.3 Data Processing for Contact Purposes
As part of customer communication, we process personal data to handle your inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You provide this data to us voluntarily when contacting us.
3. Data Processing for Delivery
For the purpose of contract execution (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), we transfer your data to the shipping company selected by you during the ordering process, which has been commissioned to deliver the ordered products.
4. Data Processing for Payment
For the purpose of payment processing in our online store, we cooperate with external service providers handling electronic online payments and transfer your data to the payment company selected by you during the ordering process. This serves contract execution (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
5. Personal Data Processing for eReceipts
For the purpose of providing the eReceipt service, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, we may transfer customer contact data such as phone number and email address to the entity providing IT support for eReceipts.
6. Marketing Channels: Email
If you subscribe to our newsletter, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we will use the data you provided to regularly send our newsletter electronically. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
To make your visit to our website more attractive and to enable you to use its key functions, we use technological tools, including so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are automatically saved on your device. Some cookies we use are deleted after the browser session ends (so-called session cookies). Other cookies are stored on your device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies).
8. Use of Cookies and Similar Technological Tools
If you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we use the cookies and other similar technological tools of external service providers indicated below on our website.
8.1 Use of Google Services
We use technological tools from Google Ireland Ltd. For website usage analysis, we use Google Analytics – a web analytics tool. For spam protection, we use Google reCAPTCHA. For consistent content presentation, we use Google Fonts.
9. Trusted Shops Integration
To display Trusted Shops services (e.g. quality seal, collected reviews) and to offer Trusted Shops products for buyers after placing an order, Trusted Shops widgets are integrated with our website. These widgets are loaded only after you grant consent to Marketing cookies.
10. Social Media and the Pakker Photo Program
We maintain profiles on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. When you use our profiles, data may also be processed by the relevant platform operator under its privacy policy. If you join the Pakker Photo Program, we process account data, the submitted photo, its description, publication status and information about the issued code to receive and verify the submission, provide the 20% discount, operate the Pakker Around the World Gallery and use the photo on Pakker websites, our social media channels and in paid online advertising. Processing is based on performance of the agreement to participate in the Program (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where separate consent is required, on that consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). To the extent necessary, the photo may be shared with hosting and store providers, social media operators, advertising platforms and service providers managing Pakker campaigns. We use the photo while it remains in the Program. You can access your submissions at any time in the “Photos” section of your account and delete them there, or request removal at hey@pakker.com. After deletion, we stop new publications and remove the photo from the Gallery and active campaigns without undue delay. We may retain limited records of participation, code issuance and request handling for periods required by law, and Pakker cannot fully control copies previously saved or shared by other users. Details are set out in the Pakker Photo Program Terms.
