Did you know that pants get damaged more by improper washing than from daily wear?

Washing

Always wash your pants inside out, at a low temperature (30 °C) and with minimal detergent. This will preserve the intense colors, while saving energy and taking care of the environment.

Drying

If you can – avoid tumble drying. The pants will survive it, but they will lose their durability faster and may shrink.

Dry your pants inside out (since you’ve already washed them this way – it will be easiest).

Pakkers have several layers of fabric around the pockets; turning them inside out improves airiness, so they dry faster and more evenly.

Ironing

Iron on the left side – this is especially important around the pockets. This way the steam will further disinfect them.
Under the influence of steam and temperature, the fibers will straighten, gain resilience, greater durability and – a little by the way – an elegant appearance.

Repair

If rubbing, holes or discoloration appear – try to repair them yourself. Each of these is part of your and their history.
If you need to, get help from a local tailor, or send the pants to us – we’ll try to help.

Pakker Care

The service may include, but is not limited to, dyeing, repair of rubbing, replacement of pockets, corrections in cut, replacement of leg elastics or cord.
In all cases, we use original Pakker Trousers materials.

Don’t like the elastic band?

Prefer straight leg pockets? It doesn’t get any easier than that.
At the bottom of the leg you’ll find a left inspection window, so you can easily cut the elastic and give your pants a more classic look.

And when it’s time to say goodbye….

If your pants are already so damaged that they are not wearable or repairable – send them to us for recycling. We’ll earmark them for patching giving them new life.

In return you will receive a Gift Coupon worth 50 PLN for purchases in our store.

Our sustainable production principles.

We believe that we can change the world.
From the very beginning, we have been working in the spirit of slow fashion.
But that’s not enough – we still need to encourage you to do the same.
Therefore, buy only as many clothes as you really need.
And take care of them so that they serve you for as long as possible.

– We produce locally and pay fairly.
We respect our partners.

– We do not produce for stock and minimize waste.

– We improve one cut of pants and sell off the ends of collections.

– We all work remotely, we don’t want to be a “corpo”.

– We appear in our ads ourselves and run our social media ourselves. This gives us better contact with our customers.

– We don’t wrap in plastic foil.

– We expand our knowledge of sustainable production and hint to our customers how to take care of the Planet.

Let us tell you a bit about
the materials we use for our clothing.

Cotton Classic

Our Classic Pakkers are made from cotton with a weight of 300g/m². The material has a plain weave, meaning the fibers intersect at 90-degree angles. The texture of this fabric is regular and smooth, giving our trousers an elegant character.
The material, commonly referred to as canvas, does not respond well to harsh treatment. Your trousers will last longer if you wash them at 40 degrees with reduced spin. We also do not recommend drying our Classics in automatic dryers.
Classic is versatile and performs excellently in both physically active situations and those requiring a degree of elegance. Practical in both summer and winter.

Blue Jeans

Our jeans Pakkers are made from sturdy cotton with a twill weave and a weight of 350g/m². They are truly solid and durable! Designed for special tasks. The texture of the jeans is uneven and palpable to the touch. This stylish appearance and strong character of the jeans are due to the diagonal arrangement of the threads.
You don’t have to wash these trousers at all. In fact, the less often they come into contact with water, the better. If you do have to wash them, choose a short cycle, 800 spins, and low temperature (max 30°C). Seriously! Never dry them in a dryer, on a radiator, or even in the sun. And don’t iron them! They will straighten out by hanging under their own weight.

Cotton Light

Cotton Light trousers combine the advantages of both the Cotton and Light models. The fabric has a canvas structure and weighs 240g/m², which is less than our Classic Pakkers series. Here, the gaps between the warp and weft threads are larger, giving these trousers a lightness and breathability similar to what the Linen series offers.
To maintain their shape and form, avoid washing them at temperatures higher than 30 degrees Celsius and ensure the washing machine’s drum spins as slowly as possible. Before hanging them on the drying rack, give the trousers a good shake and stretch the legs.

Linen

Our Linen Pakkers are made of 100% linen with a weight of 230g/m². If you look through them towards the sun, they’re transparent. Thanks to our pocket design, they don’t reveal too much.
Linen trousers are fantastic for strolls on the pier and dining out. We do know some people who climb rocks in them, but we don’t recommend these trousers for intense activities.
Linen is the best material for summer because it has water-absorbing capabilities and provides a cooling sensation on the skin. Additionally, as with all linen, it wrinkles. You’ll have to love that because there’s nothing you can do about it.

UltraLight

The UltraLight pants are made from canvas fabric weighing 120g/m², consisting of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. This blend makes the material more resistant to creasing, provides better ventilation, and is more durable than pure cotton. This makes the UltraLight pants not only comfortable but also longer-lasting, making them a more eco-friendly choice.
The UltraLight pants are perfect for hot days, ideal for walks and light physical activities. Thanks to the polyester, the fabric is stronger and more resilient. To maintain their quality, wash them in low temperatures and avoid using tumble dryers.

Hemp

Hemp fabrics are often associated with coarse cloth, but that’s not true! Trousers made from this material are lightweight and soft. They have antiseptic properties and natural UV filters. Their ability to absorb water makes these trousers perfect for both summer and winter. Use low temperatures and delicate cycles when washing. If you can, hand wash your Hemp Pakkers, but make sure to rinse out any residual detergent well. During drying, do not over-dry the fibers – if you’re drying outdoors, ensure proper shading. Iron with plenty of steam.
